Víctor “N” was the Director of Citizen Security and Safe Mobility in Jilotzingo, State of Mexico. He and six police officers and four civilians were caught unloading merchandise from a tractor-trailer they had stolen at gunpoint in the community of Santa María Mazatla.

The truck was tracked during an operation involving the Mexican Army (Sedena), the National Guard, and the State of Mexico Security Secretariat (SSEM). It was located on the Naucalpan-Ixtlahuaca highway, where the police officers involved in the robbery were guarding the area.

There, the six officers and four civilians were arrested. Four handguns and one rifle were seized, and all were taken to the specialized prosecutor’s office for these types of robberies in Atizapán de Zaragoza. During the arrest, police chief Víctor “N” identified himself as the chief in an attempt to evade capture.

He even offered money to avoid arrest, but the operation known as “Swarm” brought them before a judge. The name of Jilotzingo’s new security chief has not yet been revealed.
