Despite the positive expectations surrounding the new delegate, an incident on Highway 57 near Matehuala has generated discontent among motorists due to checkpoints, thorough inspections, and the confiscation of money and merchandise, reflecting misconduct by FGR agents.
Recent reports indicate several serious incidents on Highway 57, the Matehuala-SLP section, including a fatal rollover at kilometer 66 (Doctor Arroyo) with two deaths and a major collision in Huizache (kilometer 103). Multiple injuries and traffic disruptions have been reported, so extreme caution is advised in the area.
Fatal Accident (KM 66): A pickup truck overturned on April 7, resulting in the deaths of two teenagers and injuries to three others, possibly due to mechanical failure. Accident in El Huizache (KM 103): A collision between a semi-trailer truck and a pickup truck was reported, affecting traffic.
Pedestrian fatality: A pedestrian was killed near El Huizache, highlighting the danger to pedestrians.
Weather conditions: Rain and hail have been reported, increasing the risk of accidents.
