People of Mexico, open your eyes to the farce of tyranny! While speeches of sovereignty are rehearsed in palaces and wrapped in the flag of a tinsel humanism, reality overflows in blood, and official silence becomes the shackle of our sister nations.

Ms. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, today seated in the chair that should belong to the people and not to the faction, has decided that her government will be a temple of pretense and a refuge for autocrats.

It has taken the cry from the south and the demand from the Old Continent to expose what propaganda here tries to hide with mornings of incense.

What is this “Estrada Doctrine” if not the shroud with which they intend to cover the corpse of freedom in Venezuela?

María Corina Machado, a woman who has withstood the onslaught of a criminal dictatorship, has pointed out with a fiery finger the moral capitulation of the one who now holds office in the Zócalo. Sheinbaum’s silence in the face of the boot crushing Venezuelans is complicity with those who know they are cut from the same cloth of authoritarianism.

What a disgrace for a nation that calls itself revolutionary! To ignore the cry of a mother fighting for her homeland, while here they fill their mouths with a desk-bound feminism that only serves to decorate state institutions. Sheinbaum’s peace is the peace of the grave and the peace of complicit silence with the tyrants of the continent.

From the parliamentary podium, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo has uttered a burning truth: While the Mexican government is busy demanding apologies for grievances from five centuries ago, the streets of Mexico are stained with the blood of today. It’s despotism’s oldest trick: to conjure up the ghosts of history so the people don’t see the executioners of the present.

Class hypocrisy! They dare to speak of the Conquest while handing over the territory to organized crime and leaving young people at the mercy of bullets. Álvarez de Toledo’s criticism is against a farce that uses identity as a shield to hide ineptitude and subservience.

They claim to defend the people, but their only obsession is control, dogma, and the perpetuation of a system that has changed its colors, but not its vices.

Off with the masks!
Let’s not fool ourselves any longer. Sheinbaum’s project is the institutionalization of lies. It’s the use of the state apparatus to stifle criticism and elevate the cult of personality above the needs of the hungry and the persecuted.

When Machado and Álvarez point to the erosion of our institutions, they are holding up a mirror to a government that fears freedom. The current administration is the new Porfiriato, disguised as the left, preferring to fight with the shadows of the past rather than face the responsibility for its own failures.

Enough with the lies! Truth is won in the streets and defended against the tyrants of yesterday and the would-be dictators of today!
