Prominent Mexican entrepreneur, author, and business podcaster Jorge Serratos suffered a devastating cyberattack on Thursday, August 6, 2026, resulting in the compromise and subsequent suspension of his primary social media accounts across multiple digital platforms.

Serratos, widely recognized as the creator of the popular Sinergéticos podcast and business movement, revealed that unauthorized third-party hackers breached his digital infrastructure. Within minutes, the security compromise led to the restriction, deletion, or suspension of his Facebook page with 6.8 million followers, the Sinergéticos Facebook account with 3.2 million followers, and his primary YouTube channels—including Mente Sinérgica—which host hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

Technical assessments conducted following the breach indicated that the attack was an external effort aimed purely at sabotage rather than financial extortion. The cyber intrusion disrupted over 250 daily automated content distributions and temporarily halted operational workflows for his media network, which employs approximately 200 staff members.

In a video message addressing his audience, Serratos expressed profound frustration over the sudden loss of six years of continuous digital growth. Beyond content creation, the account suspensions halted online educational programs, business mentorships, and charitable fundraising initiatives organized through his foundation for orphanages and marginalized communities in Mexico.

The cyberattack triggered a swift response from the online business community. Followers and fellow content creators launched a viral support campaign alongside a Change.org petition demanding that tech giants Meta and Google (YouTube) manually review the case.

Advocates urged the platforms to recognize that the security breaches originated from malicious external hackers—rather than internal policy violations—and called for the immediate restoration and unblocking of Serratos’ official channels
