The Mexican GP will reach more Formula 1 fans through the Fan Fest in seven municipalities in Mexico City.

The Mexican Grand Prix will have Fan Fest in seven town halls in Mexico City, places where the race in which the Mexican Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez participates will be broadcast live.

“At the Mexico GP we constantly look for ways to extend the experience to fans both inside and outside the Autodrómo Hermanos Rodríguez, for which we thank the government of Mexico City and the mayors Álvaro Obregón, Benito Juárez, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco , Iztapalapa, Miguel Hidalgo and Venustiano Carranza and their representatives, for joining this initiative and allowing us to bring the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX OF MEXICO CITY 2023 to more people,” commented Federico González Compeán, general director of the Grand Prix of the City of Mexico.

In the seven municipalities where there will be a CDMX Grand Prix Fan Fest, admission will be free and there will be various interactions to bring motorsport fans closer together.

Another justification is that the Mexican GP has increased its demand, which makes it very difficult to get tickets for the event that takes place at the end of October. That’s why the initiative to install Fan Fest.

“The Mexican Grand Prix has positioned itself as one of the best international sporting events, bringing together more than 2.4 million fans throughout its seven editions. That is why their demand to purchase tickets is greater every year,” it was reported on the official page of the Mexican GP.

Last year, Mexico City authorities announced that the contract with Formula One was extended until 2025, despite rumors that the competition would leave that headquarters.

Now, with Fan Fest, more people will have interaction with one of the most important sporting events in the world.
