The Mexican Hotel Association of San Cristóbal de las Casas demanded that the governor of Chiapas, Rutilio Escandón, “to live in peace and security, respecting the rule of law.”

He warned that “tourism is ending, and many companies are going bankrupt; Tell us what we are going to do, because you, in this time of government, have not been able to solve the problems of the state and your failure to do anything has affected all of us citizens, some by having to close their companies and others by being left unemployed.”.
He asked the governor to answer, “what business owners should do,” because we are tired of asking and demanding without any response. Why do you continue to ignore the problems of our state?
