Guerrero invests 27 million pesos to combat dengue, zika and chikungunya

More than 27 million pesos were allocated by the government of the state of Guerrero to combat the mosquito that transmits Dengue, Zika and Chikungunya, which occupies eighth place nationally, due to the number of registered cases. 

In the fight against the proliferation of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, more than a thousand workers from the Ministry of Health of the state government participate, who were provided with new vehicles and supplies. 

The cities where the greatest number of prevention actions will be carried out are; Acapulco, Chilpancingo, Iguala, Tlapa, Ometepec, as well as in the Magical Towns of Taxco and Zihuatanejo. 

Aidé Ibarez Casatrto, Secretary of Health in the state called on the municipal authorities and the population to join forces in their homes, with preventive activities as part of the permanent program against the proliferation of the Dengue, Zika or Chikungunya disease mosquito, which to date vectors have applied to combat one million 666 thousand homes and nebulizations in 33 thousand 164 hectares.
