After more than five months of being closed, this Tuesday, August 2nd, spaces for recreation, sports, and culture reopen in Querétaro at 30 percent of their capacity.
This was determined by the Technical Health Committee of the state which unanimously agreed that as of September 1, cinemas, theaters, museums, open sports activities, and swimming pools will be reopened at 30% of their capacity.

This is carried out “prioritizing at all times the application of preventive health measures, in order to preserve the health of Queretans.”
This reopening takes place in response to the technical shielding and analysis regarding the evolution of the pandemic, with the aim that the economic reactivation continues to be cautious, gradual, and orderly, which is subject to the epidemiological behavior of Covid-19 in the state “.

In the case of the reopening of non-essential activities such as ecological tourist spaces, this will be carried out with a capacity of 50%.

For walking tours around the city, there will be a maximum capacity of 20 people, plus the actors who participate in them, as well as tourist tours in the state with a capacity of 50 percent in transfers and the expansion to 50% capacity in hotels.
Likewise, it was agreed to extend the service hours of restaurants, so that the working hours of these establishments go from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., with the exception of holidays.
In cultural matters, the reopening of exhibition spaces for artistic, plastic and scenic artistic disciplines is now also allowed, except for workshops.

In the case of the reopening of swimming pools, it was established that there will be a special schedule for senior citizens, as well as the installation of a health review module.
