Travelers in central Mexico have a new reason to pack their bags. Low-cost carrier Volaris has officially confirmed the addition of a nonstop route connecting the capital of Querétaro with the entertainment hub of Las Vegas, Nevada. The service is scheduled to begin operations on December 1, 2026, and will offer flights twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays.
This expansion marks a significant milestone for the Querétaro International Airport, which until now lacked direct service to Las Vegas. The new route is part of a broader expansion strategy by Volaris, which is also introducing new connections from other cities like Puebla and Guadalajara.
Affordable Travel Options
As part of the promotional launch, tickets have appeared on the airline’s platform with starting prices as low as $1,698 pesos for a one-way economy flight. It is important to note that these promotional fares are dynamic and subject to availability; for example, this specific rate was identified for a flight on February 15, 2027. Prospective passengers are advised that these base prices do not necessarily include additional services such as checked baggage or seat selection, which can increase the total cost of the booking.
Gateway to Entertainment
The route is expected to be a major draw for tourists seeking quick access to world-famous attractions, including the Las Vegas Strip, the immersive experiences at the Sphere, the Fremont Street Experience, and proximity to natural landmarks like the Grand Canyon and Red Rock Canyon.
With the addition of this Las Vegas connection, Volaris continues to strengthen its presence in the Bajío region. The airline has recently expanded its portfolio from Querétaro to include other key international destinations such as Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Orlando, and San Antonio. Travelers are encouraged to visit the official Volaris website to check real-time availability and secure their bookings for this highly anticipated new service.
