The National Anti-kidnapping Coordination, a decentralized body of the Secretariat for Citizen Security and Protection, in collaboration with the Specialized Unit to Combat the Kidnapping of Zacatecas, freed a man and detained 11 alleged kidnappers at a home of the entity.

Through a statement, the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection detailed that through field investigation work, it was possible to locate the person deprived of his liberty and in an operation with Tactical Support and Special Operations personnel, 11 people related to the kidnapping were arrested.

During the operation they also insured vehicles and homes that were allegedly used for said illegal activities.

The text highlighted that the detainees had their human rights respected at all times and were made available to the competent authority who decreed the detention legal and with the evidence provided, the link to the aggravated kidnapping process was achieved. .

“With these actions, CONASE reaffirms its commitment to society and calls on citizens to report events that hurt the population through the numbers 089 and 9-1-1.”
