The right wing—development and democracy—continues to advance over the left wing—misery and authoritarianism—in Latin America. Peru, with Keiko Fujimori, and Colombia, with Abelardo de la Espriella, have defeated what little remains of 21st-century narco-socialism in presidential elections.
Entire populations were subjected to misery for decades by authoritarian left-wing leaders united in the criminal alliance of the Sao Paulo Forum.
This afternoon it was announced that Abelardo de la Espriella won the Colombian presidential election against the narco-terrorist Iván Cepeda.
If we look at the political map of the region, 21st-century socialism is disappearing, and it is very likely that in the next elections in Brazil, freedom and democracy will triumph over the miserable left.
In Mexico, the socialist narco-state that Andrés Manuel López Obrador imposed as the system of government is dangerously imploding before the next midterm elections to be held in June 2027.
The victories of Keiko Fujimori and Abelardo de la Espriella, in addition to the likely victory in Brazil of Flavio Bolsonaro over the leftist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, are cornering the Morena party leadership in Mexico, placing them at serious electoral risk.
On the other hand, the collapse of the criminal Castro regime in Cuba and the rebirth of a free and prosperous people on the island are leaving Claudia Sheinbaum without ideological support. She governs by heavily using state propaganda to control and mobilize emotions and constantly provoke confrontation.
