Mexico City is rolling into a new cultural era with Rolla México 2026, the country’s first roller dance festival, taking place April 9–12. The event blends skating, music, and urban art, transforming the capital into a giant roller rink.
From April 9 to 12, Mexico City hosts Rolla México 2026, a groundbreaking roller dance festival organized by Universo Quads. The four-day celebration features workshops, themed parties, urban art exhibitions, and roller dance battles, attracting both local skaters and international talent from countries including the United States, France, Germany, Kenya, and Spain.
Events will be spread across venues such as the Pabellón de Cultura Comunitaria, Deportivo Azcapotzalco, and Deportivo José María Morelos y Pavón, each offering unique activities ranging from beginner classes to late-night dance sessions. A highlight of the festival is the fusion of roller dance and lucha libre, where iconic wrestler KeMonito will present a championship belt to the winner of the roller battles, accompanied by luchador Struendo.
Music is central to the experience, with DJs like Banhi, Sourgrapism, Frankiej, and Tech Trix providing nonstop rhythms to keep the wheels moving. A roller bazaar on April 10–11 will showcase gear, fashion, and community projects, reinforcing the festival’s cultural dimension.
Organizers emphasize that Rolla México is more than entertainment—it’s about reclaiming urban space through skating, promoting active lifestyles, and building community. With its mix of sport, spectacle, and street culture, the festival aims to position Mexico City as a global hub for roller dance.
