Through the Public Services Department, work is being carried out to maintain the cleanliness of tourist spots prior to the arrival of the Norwegian Sun cruise ship.
By instruction of President Jorge Sánchez Allec, the management of municipal Public Services in order to maintain the spaces in optimal conditions and an excellent image of the city, before the arrival of the first cruise of the 2023-2024 season, the management of Public Services whose head is David Luna Bravo launched various cleaning works with administrative and operational crews so that upon the arrival of cruise passengers to Zihuatanejo Pueblo Mágico it looks as it has until now 100% cleanliness.
Luna Bravo mentioned that among the various cleaning tasks carried out are the washing of planters, pepena, chapona, renovation with paint in different areas, weed clearing, manual sweeping and the collection of solid waste, these supported by the different areas, from this direction, in the main tourist points and accesses such as Paseo del Pescador, Mirador de Ixtapa, Main Pier, Access to Playa Linda, Playa La Ropa and Boulevards.
