The Hollywood actor Patrick Dempsey arrived last Tuesday night at the ‘Heriberto Jara Corona’ International Airport, in the city of Veracruz, to participate in the 2023 Pan-American Race.
In a video broadcast through social networks, Dempsey is seen arriving at the Jarocho airport, in the middle of dozens of fans who, excited, asked for autographs and a souvenir photograph of him. There he was received by the state Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Iván Martínez Olvera.
After his departure, the actor who gave life to the iconic Dr. Shepherd in the series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ was transferred to the Gran Fiesta Americana hotel in Boca del Río.
Patrick Dempsey will be in the 2023 edition of the Carrera Panamericana, which will take place from October 13 to 19 in Veracruz and other states. Although he will not participate as a runner, he will travel the route as an ambassador aboard his Porsche 991 hybrid car.
The American actor will leave Boca del Río on Friday, October 13, at 7:00 a.m. The race will start in that municipality and will travel through the states of Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Mexico City, Querétaro, Guanajuato, Aguascalientes, to finish in San Luis Potosí.
Who is Patrick Dempsey?
Patrick Dempsey made his film debut with the initiation film ‘Curso Del 65’ (1985). Shortly afterward he starred in several comedies that gave him international fame, thus becoming one of the most promising young actors in Hollywood.
He became part of films such as ‘You Can’t Buy My Love’ (1987), ‘They Prefer Young People’ (1987), ‘Some Girls’ (1988) and ‘Loverboy’ (1989). By 2005 his career would take a turn thanks to the television series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, where he played Dr. Derek Shepherd.
