An elderly couple climbed the Mazatlán Lighthouse and their photograph went viral locally in a matter of hours, this because they are both 86 years old.
According to the publication, it is not the first time that Lupita Ríos and her husband Rafael Saldaña have climbed Cerro del Crestón.
This action caused the Mazatlecos astonishment, because to reach the Mirador de Cristal, where the photograph was taken, they must climb 745 meters of trails plus 336 steps, in addition to the fact that high temperatures have been recorded in the port, therefore that ascending to El Faro de Mazatlán is complicated and physical condition is needed.
The publication has more than 4,000 comments, most of which show love, affection and admiration for this romantic couple of grandparents.
