Diners at a bar in the municipality of Tihuatlán, in Veracruz, experienced moments of terror after the massacre that interrupted the fun and party on the night of April 25.
Information portals with a presence in the place indicated that a group of hitmen — still unidentified — entered the “La Rommy” Bar, located in the community of Zacate Colorado, at around 11:00 a.m., to open fire on those present, and later they fled. Witnesses say that the attack was indiscriminate.
State Police agents went to the scene after reports of a firearm detonation. At the site, they identified six fatalities (five men and one woman) who were lying in a pool of blood, a figure that was confirmed by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
One of the people executed would be the brother of the owner of the premises located on Francisco Suárez Street, next to the Poza Rica – Tulancingo federal highway. Likewise, it is said that two victims would have been identified as Julio “N” and “El Caballo”; while the others would remain unknown.
