MAZATLAN.- Beach, sun, and sand are the combination that results in Mazatlan Fest 2022, an event that will be held for the second time and will be totally free.
The billboard includes Thursday 14, Friday 15, and Saturday 16 April, in Camarón Sábalo avenue and Gaviotas Beach, for a beach party, three days in which different musical groups and artists such as “Abismo Norteño”, “Banda el Bello Puerto de Mazatlán”, “Mary Jose Sarabia”, “Dj Tito” and more, will entertain the afternoon and evening, from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Saturday the 16th will be the most important day as a carnival parade is being prepared, in order to give foreigners a taste of the maximum Mazatlan party. This will take place on Avenida del Mar, from the Monumento al Pescador a Valentinos, at 6:00 in the afternoon. Be careful, the road will close about 4 hours before the show, so citizens are asked to take precautions.
To close with a flourish, that same Saturday the legendary rock group Matute will offer a great concert on Quirino Ordaz Avenue, at 8:00 p.m., the access allowed to the public will be from 6:00 p.m.
But that’s not all, there will also be games, activations, sale of food and drinks.
The capacities
For the beach parties, the capacity allowed will be only 5 thousand people, the parade will be able to enjoy 160 thousand people and the concert will be able to enter 60 thousand people.
There will be two entrances for the beach party, through Camarón Sábalo Avenue and through the beach area. While for the Matute musical show they will be by Isla Azada and Isla Chivos.
