Meet the citizens of the year from Querétaro, according to Grupo Salinas

This campaign is carried out within the framework of the Advisory Councils of Grupo Salinas, a project that arises from the need of businessmen to publicize and highlight these stories of extraordinary people locally.

Grupo Salinas carried out the fourth edition of its “Citizen of the Year” social campaign in León, where two Queretaro women were recognized as Citizens of the Year: Ana Isabel Niembro and Claudia Segoviano, who for their actions in 2021 were awarded the appointment as “Citizen of the Year in Querétaro”.

This campaign is carried out within the framework of the Advisory Councils of Grupo Salinas, a project that arises from the need of businessmen to publicize and highlight those stories of extraordinary people locally, who stand out for being an example of inspiration in various areas and that generate a high social impact in the country. 

The candidates for Citizens of the Year were proposed and chosen with the support of the members of the Consultative Council of the region.

Helping MX “AYUDANDO MX” and Mariana Sala IAP are the winning projects

In this edition, the work of Ana Isabel Niembro, from Queretaro, an entrepreneurial woman and founder of “AYUDANDO MX”, an association dedicated to feeding indigent people, people in nursing homes, and relatives of patients in civil hospitals, was recognized.

Likewise, Claudia Segoviano from Querétaro, head of MARIANA SALA I.AP, received this award. Her association seeks to transform spaces so that children feel loved, respected and accompanied during their professional, social and academic training. 

Each of the stories of these citizens of the year, was released regionally during the session of the Advisory Council.

The Advisory Councils of Grupo Salinas were created in 2016, with the aim of promoting dialogue and good practices among the main business leaders of Mexico, they are currently chaired by Ninfa Salinas Sada.
