It will be available in Mexico from June 29 with a variety of titles in movies and series of comedy, romance, horror and other genres.
Here we present the option in plans, costs and the discounts it offers.
There are two plans available:
1) Standard: It has a cost of 149 pesos per month. It offers content playback on three simultaneous devices, 4K and Full HD resolution, and can be used on any device compatible with the application.
2) Mobile: It costs 99 pesos per month. It is available for tablets or smartphones and only allows one device at a time with access to content.
In both plans there is the option to pay for three and up to twelve months with an extra discount :
Quarterly
-Standard: 399 pesos
-Mobile: 269 pesos
Annual
-Standard: 1,249 pesos
-Mobile: 829 pesos
Some titles that will be able to be enjoyed since its launch are all the Harry Potter films, The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix.
In addition, it promises series such as Friends, Sex in the City, The Big Bang Theory and Big Little Lies.
It will also offer newer releases such as Tom and Jerry, Mortal Kombat, Judas and the Black Messiah and Godzilla vs. Kong.
Max Originals
As if that were not enough, the streaming server will be accompanied by original productions that were developed in recent months. Among them we can find The fly attendant, Genera + ion, Raised by Wolves and documentaries such as Selena + Chef , the Legendary dance contest , Nicky Minaj’s docuseries as well as the recent premiere of Friends: reunion special.
In the sights there are two long-awaited returns: the next chapter of the Sex and the city series in And just like that and the reboot of the Gossip Girl series . HBO Max also prepares original productions from the new territories in which it arrives, including a Mexican series on women’s soccer called Las Bravas.
Offer 50% discount per launch
In addition to the already known promotions of Mercado Libre, Telmex and DirectTV, by launch HBO Max offers a promotion of 50% “permanent” discount on the cost of its subscriptions:
- Mobile plan for 49 pesos per month, from 99 pesos
- Standard plan for 74.50 pesos per month, from 149 pesos
The requirements of the promotion are that users register from their website from a computer or smartphone and activate the monthly automatic renewal, and it will remain effective as long as the subscription is active and with a valid payment method. If at any time the account is canceled, the promotion will no longer be valid. The promotion for hiring will be available from June 29 to July 31, 2021.
