Hilton has officially opened its latest all-inclusive, the adults-only Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, in Mexico.

The resort, which was formerly the Live Aqua Playa del Carmen, marks the first all-inclusive to open under Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.

Hilton unveiled plans to open the property in partnership with Playa Hotels & Resorts in March.

The 60-room Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen features several food and beverage concepts, including the Sakura Maru Sushi Bar, which serves up Japanese and Peruvian fusion cuisine, and the La Terraza Snack Bar, offering a menu of tacos, fresh seafood, seasoned wings, BBQ ribs and cocktails.

Other amenities include a rooftop pool and bar, as well as a spa.

Guests at the Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen can also opt to upgrade to an All-Inclusive+ package, which provides access to dining venues and amenities available at the nearby sister all-inclusive, Hilton Playa del Carmen.

In addition to the Yucatan Resort Playa del Carmen and Hilton Playa del Carmen, Playa Hotels & Resorts operates three other Hilton-flagged all-inclusive, the Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa in Jamaica and two Hilton La Romana resorts in the Dominican Republic.
