What the heck is Paragliding (Parapente in Spanish) anyway? It is “the recreational and competitive adventure sport of flying paragliders: lightweight, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure,” and in our case it was also motorized.
We had the thrill of paragliding recently at Chuburna Puerto beach near Progreso, Yucatan with the company Sky Legend. It was a perfect, blue sky kind of day and we got to check something really cool off of our bucket list!
