Gicsa Group inaugurates Explanada Culiacán Malltertainment


With an investment of 2,630 million pesos and after two years of construction, Grupo Gicsa carried out the opening of Explanada Culiacán Malltertainment, which has a profitable area of ​​53,500 square meters, where more than 200 consumption options will be offered for the visitors. 

In addition to locating commercial, entertainment and leisure offer, there will be a 20 meter diameter hot air balloon ; as well as Intrepoli (family center that includes all kinds of entertainment) will have interactive and official batting boxes of the Tomateros de Culiacán ; also Go Karts, miniature golf, climbing walls, trampolines, augmented reality games and children’s attractions, to name a few amenities. 

Among the brands that will be part of its commercial offer are: Suburbia, Cinemex, True Religión, Replay, Under Armor, Studio F, On, Coppel, Guess, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, among many others. 

Likewise, local artists will be promoted, who will share spaces within the Culiacán Esplanade in order to represent their customs and traditions. In the “Plazita” area, local merchants and artisans will have a space dedicated to disseminating their products. 

“This opening is the sum of GICSA’s efforts with our commercial partners. Despite the context we live in, we are sure that Explanada Culiacán will be very successful, especially because we will take all the necessary measures to take care of the health of visitors and members ”, commented the CEO of Grupo GICSA, Abraham Cababie Daniel.

According to the company statement, it is estimated that this Malltertainment generated around 5 thousand direct and indirect jobs; in addition to contributing to the economic benefit of the state. 

It should be noted that Explanada Culiacán is part of the new category (Malltertainment) created by Gicsa, thus becoming the third esplanade to open in Mexico.
