Mazatlán.- The Government of Mazatlán, through Operation Networks, toured Mazatlán nightclubs, bars and restaurants on Thursday night to verify compliance with the health guidelines and to urge them not to lower their guard this weekend on the occasion of the celebration of Halloween and Day of the Dead.

The coordinator of Civil Protection, Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, said that this type of inspections is carried out on a permanent basis with the participation of personnel from the Sub-Directorate of Commerce, the Mayor’s Office, the Ministry of Public Safety and Municipal Traffic and municipal Ecology.

“The objective today is to visit all the bars and nightclubs in the municipality of Mazatlán again. We are following the instructions of the municipal president, Chemist Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, and what we are doing is with the managers or representatives of this type of business, who feel confident that the day we are visiting them is to confirm that they follow the sanitary guidelines and protocols. We are here in what is one of the bars that traditionally, before the new normal, generated a bit of crowding, and here we can see that they are following these types of guidelines to the letter ”, he highlighted.

For his part, the dispatch manager of the Ministry of Public Security and Municipal Transit, Juan Ramón Alfaro Gaxiola, mentioned that since this is a long weekend, a high influx of tourists is expected to this city, so no Greater mobility is ruled out in nighttime social life, and for this reason, surveillance operations will continue.

“We continue to check those that continue with the same 30% restriction, we are not going to allow excess people; It is the mayor’s instruction that we have, for the good of all, ”he said.

On this occasion, establishments in the Navy and Zona Dorada received a visit from Operative Network and promised not to lower their guard.
