Ismael Tiznado Ontiveros regrets that the Constructora G&G does not fulfill its commitment to bring water in trucks to the elevated tank
Mazatlán, Sinaloa .- The lack of water in the Monte Verde subdivision is not a problem that Jumapam can solve with the immediacy that the affected population demands since the situation is the result of the lack of compliance with the commitments made by the construction company G&G more than 8 months ago with the paramunicipal.
The General Manager of Jumapam, Ismael Tiznado Ontiveros, regretted that at the moment a port settlement lacks sufficient water to satisfy their needs and stressed that the paramunicipal has done what is within its possibilities to provide the service.
And he reiterated that Jumapam is the one with the least interference in this problem since in July of last year an agreement was reached with G&G, where Jumapam promised to deliver 100,000 liters of water per week through the network, in addition to 13 water trucks a week and that the construction company would carry the same amount in pipes to supply its elevated tank, something it did not do.
“G&G has never fulfilled the condition of bringing water to them in water trucks, and what happens now, that 8 months ago there were 150 houses (inhabited), and now they are about 600 houses and you cannot supply all users with the same water, they are already triple, “he said.
The engineer Tiznado Ontiveros explained that the Municipal Board of Drinking Water and Sewerage has already met with the representative of G&G, Herculano Fierro, to give a solution to this case, without reaching a good result.
