Ordaz Coppel issued this message to the people of Sinaloa accompanied by the Secretary of Health, Efrén Encinas Torres; and by the Secretary of Tourism, Oscar Pérez Barros, minutes after holding the videoconference, in which the Mexican Foreign Minister, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón, and the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López Gatell, were also present.

“The decision we have made is to temporarily suspend the hotels for a month to avoid further contagion; This virus is very contagious, this Easter many people come from outside, from other places, and we have to avoid a rapid spread, “he said.

Ordaz Coppel stressed that the most important thing is the health of the population since taking care of yourself is taking care of your family and taking care of the community. “That is why we have to be very cautious, attend to the recommendations made by the Health authorities, we are totally in line and hand in hand with the Federal Government, because something very important is that there is only one strategy, we need to be very united, I am sure that we are going to get ahead, strengthened, but in order to achieve that we need to make an important effort right now, it is a very strong sacrifice but it would be worse not to do it, the damage would be greater and for a longer time ”.

The state governor recognized the effort made by Sinaloan society to heed the call to stay at home since there are fewer people circulating in the cities, but it is necessary to reinforce these actions much more, avoid crowds and above all, ignore the Fake news or rumors circulating on social networks, as they have created a lot of psychosis.

“Yes, we have to be firm, but we must also have serenity, not to fall into panic purchases, but what is very important is to take shelter, protect ourselves, take good care of our older adults, pregnant women, because they need our attention very much; Let’s all take care of ourselves, and we’re going to get ahead, ”he concluded.
