Operational Plans: The spaces are organized into two groups depending on the severity of the contingency: 111 properties under Plan A and 58 under Plan B.
Supervision and Standards: Civil Protection authorities from the three levels of government inspect these locations to ensure they meet structural safety requirements, cleanliness standards, emergency exits, basic services, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities.
Hotel Sector Integration: The network also incorporates 17 to 29 hotel spaces (primarily located in Los Cabos) certified to serve as temporary shelters to protect guests and workers during severe weather events.
