According to the local press, after “tense” divorce negotiations between the current mayor of Veracruz, Patricia Lobeira Rodríguez, and politician Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez, she will retain a mansion located in “El Rincón del Conchal” on the Veracruz Riviera.
She is also fighting to retain custody of the couple’s three children.

Lobeira is demanding child support of 300,000 pesos (15,000 US dollars) per month from Yunes Márquez (100,000 pesos per child per month), to cover school fees, tutoring, food, babysitters, security, domestic help, doctors, chauffeurs, and vacations abroad every six months.

Patricia Lobeira is demanding this amount because she is fully aware of the size of Yunes Márquez’s fortune, which he has built under the political influence he has held for decades in the state of Veracruz.

According to the publication Notigráfico De Coatzacoalcos, Yunes Márquez invested more than 60 million pesos (3 million US dollars), in the El Conchal mansion in 2012 to equip it with every luxury, including two swimming pools, a dock, a sports boat, jet skis, a sauna, a steam room, a fully equipped gym, a garage for 15 vehicles, a custom-made movie theater for 20 people, bulletproof glass, a safe room, five bedrooms, and also valuable works of art such as paintings and sculptures, among other amenities.

Unable to access the mansion, Yunes Márquez established his residence in the exclusive “AMURA” Tower, owned by Ricardo Fernández Rivero and Carlos Ramos De la Medina (who are known to be the Yunes Clan’s front men).

Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez’s experience is similar to that of his mother, Leticia Márquez, when she divorced his father, Miguel Ángel Yunes Linares, also due to allegations of infidelity and deceit, leaving her with a mansion at the Villa Rica Golf Club, worth more than 90 million pesos.

According to Notigráfico De Coatzacoalcos, the Yunes Tower in the historic center, next to the Carranza lighthouse, is in Robeira’s mother’s name.
