InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, part of the growing luxury and lifestyle portfolio of IHG Hotels & Resorts, announces the opening of the InterContinental Presidente Monterrey, in collaboration with Grupo Presidente. Located in San Pedro Garza García, Monterrey, the hotel is a minimalist retreat and a true oasis of tranquility.
Designed by Francesc Rifé Studio Barcelona, the hotel stands out for its contemporary style, discreet, elegant, and modern touches, which blend with the stunning view of Cerro de la Silla. The façade design, constructed with metal and movable wood panels, allows light to flow through, filling the spaces. Inside, wood and stone create an atmosphere of serenity and sophistication.

Grupo Presidente has invested approximately $100 million in this property, which will generate 500 direct jobs and 1,500 indirect jobs. This luxurious and ambitious project marks the return of the iconic luxury hotel brand InterContinental to this destination after an eight-year absence, expanding the presence of both companies in the north of the country.

The 293 rooms at the InterContinental Presidente Monterrey, including 25 spacious suites, have been designed to offer spaces of harmony and relaxation. Each room features the highest quality finishes, such as solid walnut and Italian Gris Rochelle marble, as well as luxurious furnishings imported from Spain.
The bathrooms, equipped with luxury amenities and rain showers, invite relaxation. At nightfall, guests can delight in panoramic views of the vibrant San Pedro Garza García district and the Sierra Madre de Chipinque mountains through large windows with automated curtains.

- Lilōu: With a sophisticated ambiance, this restaurant pays homage to the culinary traditions of cities such as New York, London, and Paris. Its menu of international haute cuisine promises to make it one of Monterrey’s culinary landmarks.
- Epicentro: Inspired by the iconic Epicentro at the InterContinental Presidente Mexico City, this cocktail bar specializing in gin and tonics invites you to enjoy original creations in an intimate atmosphere, complemented by service that reflects the warmth and hospitality of northern Mexico.
- Chapulín: Scheduled to open in the second half of the year, it will revive the legacy of its namesake in Mexico City as an exponent of the richness of Mexican cuisine. With a seafood bar, a clay comal, and the aroma of charcoal fires, it will offer a culinary journey through the country’s different regions.
