A worthy representative is Mrs. Alicia Pérez, a traditional cook from Pantla who will be personifying the Costa Grande at the “Gastronomic Festival and Fourth Meeting of Traditional Cooks of the State of Guerrero 2023”.
On October 28 and 29, this meeting will be held in the port of Acapulco, an event organized by the Federal and State Secretariat of Culture, which also promotes the delivery of workshops.
The president of the National Chamber of the Seasoned Food Restaurant Industry (Canirac) Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Antonio Meneses Pelayo, explained that they will also participate in the Mining meeting from October 25, while at the chefs’ meeting he will give a conference on the dishes of the region.
He announced that Mrs. Alicia represents the cuisine of the entire Costa Grande, and will be presented with dishes such as prawns with garlic mojo, aporreadillo, stuffed with cuche and roasted pork.
