The event, which will be held in coordination with local tourism authorities and airline representatives, seeks to increase the visibility of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo as a top-level beach destination and promote tourism from the United States.
The President of OCVIZ, Pedro Castelan Reyna, said that the tourist caravan will include the participation of travel agencies, media and prominent figures in the tourism industry. Promotional activities, presentations and meetings will be carried out in order to highlight the advantages of these direct air connections, which offer comfort and accessibility to travelers interested in visiting the region.
The direct connection with strategic cities in the United States is a fundamental element to attract a greater number of international tourists to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, which has become a favorite destination for its beaches, gastronomy and recreational activities.
This initiative reflects Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo’s continued efforts to diversify its markets and promote tourism, as it recovers from the challenges the tourism industry has faced in recent years.
