To tell you that we are together, that we are united, that we have four first class profiles and that now the decision is of the people, let the people speak, Morena has already made its proposal of the four people”, said in a press conference the president of Morena in the capital, Sebastián Ramírez.

The announcement was made after the second extraordinary session of the Morena State Council.

After reading the names of the four selected, out of a total of 32 registered candidates, a resounding applause was heard from the Morena militants present.

Citlalli Hernández, secretary general of Morena at the national level, highlighted the consensus and unanimity.

Upon leaving the room where the press conference was held, García Harfuch simply said goodbye.

Brugada and López-Gatell left together, accompanied by local deputies Martha Ávila, Guadalupe Chávez and Nancy Núñez, after which cheers began to be heard.

In an interview, Boy Tamborrell announced that he will not resign from his position and that it will be “out of working hours” when he will dedicate himself to the activities related to the Morena process.

The State Council of Morena announced that from today until October 29, recognition surveys will be conducted among the population, through which the National Council will decide if there are two more profiles that citizens consider should be in the final survey.

In the Mexico City district of Tláhuac, he emphasized that derived from that strategy they achieved the reduction of high impact crimes by more than 50%, from 2018 to 2023.
