On the morning of this Sunday, August 13, a speeding bus overturned on the Mexico-Querétaro highway, leaving at least seven dead, 13 injured including a minor.

According to the news outlet ForoTv, the events occurred at km 84 of this highway, in a truck that came from the Ciudad Guzmán area, on the Colima border, headed for Mexico City.

Driver would have fallen asleep

Presumably the driver would have fallen asleep or lost control, which caused him to fall into a ditch that divides both directions of the highway. In the reporter’s images, the truck with broken windows was observed, overturned on one side and surrounded by yellow ribbons placed by the authorities already working in the area.

Official data from the authorities is currently awaiting to know the number of deaths, as well as the number of people injured.
