Health authorities from Zihuatanejo, in Guerrero, reported that they closed the campus to prevent the spread of the virus

At the Guillermo Prieto elementary school located in the municipality of Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, face-to-face classes are suspended again due to an outbreak of COVID among students and teachers on campus.

According to information from the El Sol de Acapulco portal, the municipal health director, Nieves Elizabeth Manzo Nava, indicated that the closure of the school will be as a preventive measure to prevent the spread of the virus. In addition to the closure, cleaning and disinfection acts will be carried out on the school campus.

The face-to-face suspension at the elementary school in the Los Amuzgos neighborhood in Zihuatanejo will take place until further notice. It was requested that people in the municipality who have symptoms, such as high fever or muscle pain, go to the nearest Health Center.
