The secretary of health of the state of BCS, Víctor George Flores announced that the authorities that make up the State Committee for Health Security unanimously determined that the municipalities of Mulegé, Loreto and Comondú advance in the health alert system, while La Paz and Los Cabos remain on the same level.

Víctor George reported that given the numerary and the drop in the rate of infections in the different localities, it was agreed that the municipalities of Mulegé be placed in level three of the health alert system, while Loreto and Comondú are located in the level Four.

He also mentioned that despite the fact that the numerary indicates that La Paz and Los Cabos could be located at level 1, it was decided that they remain at level 2, because it is expected that with the return to face-to-face classes mobility will increase and you run the risk of increasing the number of infections.

In this sense, the municipalities of La Paz and Los Cabos will continue to apply the same health policies such as allowing a capacity of 70% in establishments and closed spaces, for Mulegé the capacity will be 50%, while Loreto and Comondú will have a limit of 40% allowed capacity.

Finally, the official mentioned that at the close throughout the state there are 703 active cases of which 116 are hospitalized and 45 suspects.
