The Hotel Association of Cancun, Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres has convened to present this Monday the continuity of the successful relaunch campaign “come2mexicancaribbean” or “venalcaribemexicanoX2” that they spearheaded a little over a year ago when the destination reopened in June from last year.
The campaign mainly focused on social networks invites potential travelers to come to the Mexican Caribbean and enjoy multiple discounts, not only in hotels but also in parks, marinas, museums, and most service providers.
The objective of the campaign presented by the project developer, Oliver Reinhart, was to encourage travelers from Mexico and the world to visit the destinations Cancun, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, Puerto Morelos, Playa Mujeres, Riviera Maya, and Grand Costa Maya, after the confinement caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent collapse of international tourism activity.
It is worth mentioning that 227 companies that offer various services were added to the campaign, among which are: hotel, golf, water activities, rental companies, agencies, transport, restaurant, health, tour, and parks.
Among the successful promotions was the prize that was offered a free vacation for 20 years to the winner of a dynamic on Instagram at that time there was a lot of uncertainty and this campaign was presented via zoom shook the tourist scene.
For the presentation of this day, other types of objectives are expected, since the destination has been active for more than a year and with very good occupations compared to other destinations in the world, but it will undoubtedly reinforce what is said to be a lasts low season between September and November.
