JOSÉ DURÁN HAS SAID THAT HIDALGO STREET, WHICH BEGINS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA AND RUNS TO THE WEST SIDE OF THE TOWN, IS IDEAL TO DEVELOP THE PROJECT
(Ajijic, Lake Chapala.) – The painter originally from Ajijic, José Duran, after capturing his most recent work “Constantes de las Verdades”, on the wall located at the end of Hidalgo Street – where it runs into the Plaza de las Seis Esquinas-, proposes to the artists of the Ajijic delegation to unite and create the “Calle de los Murales”.
“Hidalgo Street is full of murals, from those of the primaries that are located there, to that of the delegation, and those that are close to Constante de las Verdades . Hopefully, with this proposal it can be filled with color, from the square to the Six Corners ”, commented José Durán, who added that if the initiative is carried out, he would like people of all ages to get involved, from children to renowned painters.
The interviewee pointed out that painters who want to collaborate are welcome. He added that the people who were accepted in the call of the city council, to make murals in different parts of the town, could place their projects there. Likewise, he asked people for cooperation, for the beautification permits of their facades.
On “Constantes de las Verdades”, the painter said that it is a collaboration with a foreigner, which is full of symbolism about the creation from the Hispanic and Anglo-Saxon idiosyncrasies.
