Son of Sinaloa Cartel former leader could be among the dead left by the shooting in Chiapas

Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas.- After a shooting was recorded this July 7 in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, it has begun to spread through different media that among the dead is Gilberto " El Junior" Rivera Maravilla, son of Gilberto Rivera Amarillas "El Tío Gil", former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel in Chiapas.
 
During the afternoon of Wednesday, July 7, there was an armed attack against two trucks in the municipality of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, which suddenly became a shooting, as the victims returned fire.
 
This shooting left 4 people dead, as confirmed by Reforma, and within the vehicles that were left with dozens of bullet wounds, long weapons were also left inside, which were allegedly identified as AK-47s.
 
According to the information that ZetaTijuana began to disseminate, a man allegedly identified Gilberto "El Junior" Rivera Maravilla, was driving aboard a luxury truck of the Audi brand, while his escorts followed him aboard a Renault SUV.
 
While walking along the Calzada del Rosario Sabinal, on the streets Picachu and Risco, at the height of the La Gloria subdivision, in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, he was attacked by armed men who arrived in two trucks, a Toyota Tacoma and a black colored pickup truck.

 
According to the report, the victims began to return the shots, however, the passengers would end up dead inside their vehicle.
 
During the time the shooting took place, the state authorities began the deployment of an operation, which culminated in the discovery of the trucks used by the armed men to perpetrate the attack.

However, it was not released if there were detainees or not. This shooting that left four dead in Chiapas quickly began to go viral on social networks, since the videos and photographs, where the gunshots were heard or the bodies were seen, drew the attention of thousands of users.
 
Regarding the identity of the victims, the state and federal authorities have reserved the information, but many media outlets have said that among those killed is Gilberto "El Junior" Rivera Maravilla, son of Gilberto Rivera Amarillas "El Tío Gil", former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel in Chiapas, however, this information has not been confirmed by the corresponding authorities.
