Los Cabos Lifeguard at Aquatic Rescue Seminar

Los Cabos. – From June 2 to 5, 10 lifeguards from Zofemat Los Cabos will be participating in the XVII Aquatic Rescue Seminar that is taught by members of Surf Lifesaving del Sur, -an organization made up of retired and active lifeguards from San Diego, California, USA-, who will train staff on the issue of water rescue.


It should be noted that the course is endorsed by the State Civil Protection Unit, and by the hand of the visiting instructors, elements of the Honorable Cabo San Lucas Fire Department will participate. The intention of the Government of Los Cabos is to have lifeguards constantly trained, trained and, above all, to refine their knowledge in matters of maritime rescue for the safety of citizens.


That said, it is important to inform that Zofemat Los Cabos collaborators will continue with the care, cleaning and surveillance of beaches normally, as well as the implementation of the safety and hygiene filters that are carried out in coordination with all the levels of government; however, citizens are urged to take extreme precautions when making use and enjoyment of the sea.

Finally, it is recalled that the beaches that the State Health Safety Committee allowed to keep open to the public in Los Cabos are El Médano, Las Viudas, Santa María, El Chileno, El Tule, Palmilla, Acapulquito, Costa Azul, La Playa, La Ribera, and La Gaviota, from 10:00 in the morning to 06:00 in the afternoon for citizens in general and from 06:00 in the morning to 06:00 in the afternoon for athletes; as well as in the 2 beaches of Cabo del Este that are under the care of the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas (Conanp): El Arbolito and Cabo Pulmo.
