Most of the real estate developments are having a growth towards the north of the city
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The director of Planning and Development of the Mazatlán City Council, Jorge Estavillo Kelly, announced that there are approximately 20 subdivisions that are being built in the urban area, of which so far This administration has authorized two, which are an extension of the Treasury of the Seminary and the Quarry.
“There are about 20 subdivisions, I believe, of the so-called self-employed, who administer themselves and they are the ones who provide public services and who obviously pay their taxes to the municipal government,” he said.
The municipal official said that most of the real estate developments are having growth towards the north of the city.
“It has grown a lot and many subdivisions of this type have been developed. In Real del Valle, for example, this entire area has grown a lot and many subdivisions of this type have been developed, such as Hacienda del Seminario, Coto Platino, all these subdivisions are where the city is still concentrated ”, he added.
Estavillo Kelly explained that Mazatlán has tended to grow towards the north because for services and logistics, the north zone is better developed for housing.
“For example, Santa Fé, which is in the southern area and on the outskirts, that subdivision was what was thought, there are many single houses. People need a home close to where they work; that is why it is important to ensure that human settlements occur in concentrated areas of the city, ”he said.
