Port Captaincy authorities have just notified the maritime community that the port was closed to navigation for all types of vessels due to strong gusts of wind that exceed 65 kilometers per hour.

They also indicate the presence of high swells, since waves greater than 3 meters in height are being presented, for which naval authorities determined to suspend maritime activities until further notice.

José Basurto, port captain in Cabo San Lucas, indicated that due to the increase in the west wind and high waves, the port was closed to navigation from 2:00 p.m. today, the objective of avoiding any incident that could put the human life in the sea.
