Five championships will be at stake, including the Professional World Championship in the “Lightweight” weight, featuring the battle between José Luis “El Rayo” Uribe and Alfredo Bruce González. So it will be the first time that two Vallartans meet for that title.

As a co-star of the night also for a world title and making his farewell as an amateur, is Miguel Ángel Padilla Robles, also from Puerto Vallarta in the “Light heavyweight” category vs Vince Mosca from Maryland, United States.

The fight for the National Amateur Lightweight Championship will also take place, between Rodrigo Guzmán Lucke, from Guadalajara, Jalisco, and Jesús Robles Rosales from Puerto Vallarta.

As well as the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship in the Light welterweight category between Brandon Manzanares from Puerto Vallarta and Cameron Sandoval from the United States.

Hugo Velazco, national Muay Thai promoter, declared at a press conference that due to the health contingency, these fights were going to take place in November of this year, but had to be postponed until February 2021.

For his part, the director of the Municipal Sports Council, Amador Hernández Madrigal, mentioned that it is most likely that this event will take place in municipal facilities.
