This resource would replace the FORTASEG cut for the operation of the Citizen Attention Center
Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The municipal president of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, announced that the municipality will receive approximately 16 million pesos for the payment of property tax on golf courses.
The municipality acknowledged that this money would replace the FORTASEG cut for the operation of the Citizen Service Center.
“The fact that you stop receiving money always causes problems, but here is how to solve them, other income is coming because another law will come out of the state where it makes golf courses pay property tax, not how they are subsidized right now,” he added.
In this sense, he explained that the budget elimination corresponding to FORTASEG will not affect the construction of the Citizen Security Center because it has already been completed, there would only be a fence that was not built because there was no money, however, next year it will be built.
