The Ministry of Economic Development, in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, granted permission to non-essential companies to reopen their businesses starting tomorrow.
Edna Fong Payán, president of the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) in Sinaloa, announced that starting today, it will be possible to open all the stationery businesses, painting businesses, car washes, aesthetics, tire shops, vulcanizers, businesses with sale and installation of accumulators, spare parts stores and various workshops.
Starting June 23, the reopening of general clothing, footwear, jewelry, and cosmetics businesses will be allowed from Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 4:00.
The authorities established with the merchants that the commercial malls will continue to be closed and that they must take charge of the security protocols to avoid contagion of coronavirus.
This Monday, 50 percent of the non-essential businesses that are in the first box of the city opened their businesses, but Inspection and Surveillance, in coordination with Civil Protection, proceeded on closures of businesses as they did not have the authorization to reopen this Monday.
