PGJE arrests 2 men in possession of 750 doses of crystal meth

La Paz, BCS.- On Monday, May 18, agents of the State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE), carried out investigative work regarding the different complaints of the sale of narcotics in the state capital and arrested two men in possession of illicit substances.

The members of the Unit for the Investigation of Crimes Against Narcomenudeo carried out a routine operation at the Arcoiris III neighborhood and observed a gray vehicle, whose driver tried to escape in the presence of the PGJE troops.

The car was stopped with two people onboard who identified themselves as 34-year-old Ricardo “N” and 31-year-old Carlos “N”, both originating from Baja California Sur.

When carrying out the inspection of the vehicle, the State Agency for Criminal Investigation (AEIC) officers found 5 packages containing a granulated and crystalline substance, with the characteristics of the drug known as crystal meth, corresponding to 750 doses.

Therefore, the two suspects, the drugs, and the vehicle were made available to the Agent of the Public Ministry who will determine their legal situation.
