Agents of the PEP, the Municipal Police, National Guard, Civil Protection and the Mazatlán Red Cross work in coordination by installing sanitary fence.

The Ministry of Public Security added the fourth municipality with control and deterrence points, such as containment activities against Covid-19 in Sinaloa, by including a sanitary filter on the Mazatlán-Durango highway.

The agency pointed out that this filter is directed by personnel from the State Preventive Police, along with staff from the National Guard, Municipal Police, Civil Protection and the Mazatlán Red Cross.

This checkpoint is intended to “protect the health and life of the people of Sinaloa,” says the report.

The actions began in Culiacán, where the death rate is alarming, as 216 infected patients have been confirmed until Friday April 17th, then comes Navolato, with 11; Ahome with 19; Mazatlán with 8 and Salvador Alvarado with 5.

The only Sinaloa municipalities that have not registered infected patients are Choix, San Ignacio, Concordia and Angostura.
