Mexican cyclist Isaac del Toro made history by winning the Milán-Turín 2025, becoming the first Mexican ever to claim victory in this prestigious race. The Milán-Turín is the oldest cycling classic in the world, dating back to 1876, and is known for its challenging route and iconic finish at the Superga climb in Turin.

Del Toro, riding for UAE Team Emirates-XRG, showcased his strength and tactical brilliance in the race’s final kilometers. The competition featured a 174-kilometer course, starting in Rho and culminating in the demanding ascent of Superga. In the closing moments, Del Toro launched a decisive attack, leaving behind strong contenders such as Ben Tulett (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) and Tobias Halland Johannessen (Uno-X Mobility), who finished second and third, respectively.
