Under the motto “8 regions, 8 flavors, and 1 destination,” the paradisiacal port of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is hosting the second edition of the “Guerrero Culinario” festival, a tribute to the rich gastronomic tradition of the state of Guerrero.
From December 6 to 8, tourists and locals have the opportunity to enjoy the culinary magic that characterizes the eight regions of the state, in addition to delighting in its culture, folklore, and traditional drinks such as mezcal.
Organized by CANIRAC Zihuatanejo, this event not only seeks to exalt Guerrero’s gastronomic heritage but also to highlight the role of traditional cooks, guardians of ancestral recipes passed down from generation to generation. A tour of the flavors of Guerrero
Guerrero is distinguished by its cuisine, a fusion of indigenous and Spanish influences that highlights the use of local ingredients such as corn, chili, beans, and avocado. In this edition, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo will bring together the best of the eight regions of the state:

Costa Grande
Costa Chica
Centro
Norte
Montaña
Tierra Caliente
La Sierra
The festival will offer a program designed to conquer all the senses:
-Exhibitions and sales of dishes prepared by traditional cooks.
-Mezcal tastings, brunches, mixology, honey, and coffee tastings.
-An exclusive five-course meal, created by guest chefs and traditional cooks, highlighting the unique flavors of each region.
In addition, the festival will feature the presence of mezcal masters and producers from Guerrero, Michoacán, and Oaxaca, who will present a selection of the best mezcal brands, providing attendees with an unforgettable sensory experience.
