The Mexican Army located two tractor-trailers loaded with cocaine in Culiacán, Sinaloa.

The discovery occurred when military personnel, after receiving a citizen complaint about armed persons near the Costa Rica Toll Booth on Mexico 15 International Highway, established a security post in the area.

Upon inspecting two suspicious trucks, soldiers found 200 packages of cocaine, with a total weight of approximately 200 kg. This seizure represents a loss of 40 million pesos for organized crime.

The drugs were made available to the competent authorities so they could continue with the investigations and expert reports.

These actions carried out in strict adherence to the Rule of Law, are part of the commitment of the Mexican Army and Air Force to guarantee the safety and well-being of the population in Sinaloa.
