The body of journalist Víctor Alfonso Morales was found lifeless on a stretch of road on the Ocozocoautla de Espinosa-Arriaga highway. He had several bullet wounds and signs of torture.

According to the first reports, the body of the journalist and editor of the media Realidades was found near the Ejido Tierra y Libertad, in the municipality of Jiquipilas; He had several bullet wounds, his hands were tied and his face was covered with a black cloth.

The body of the communicator was found during the early hours of this Friday and is already in the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) of Cintalapa where the legal expert examinations will be carried out.

Víctor Morales was 39 years old, he was the father of two children and also a husband. He was wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt of the same color and black tennis shoes when the authorities found his body in a dirt ditch in the area known as La Sepultura.

So far the Chiapas authorities have not commented on the matter, as with other criminal acts that have occurred in the state lately.

A review of the publications of the Realidades newspaper revealed that the medium addressed issues related to armed confrontations (the last one in Ocosingo), the effects of insecurity on tourism and the return of dozens of families to the municipality of Tila, then that he was involved in a wave of violence.
