Zihuatanejo, Guerrero.- Near midnight on Thursday, June 13th, there was a large mobilization in the Center of Zihuatanejo, by military agents and police officers, due to the report of a male person whose lifeless body was found in the middle of the street.
The body was located right in front of the traditional street food business known as “Tortas Ziranda”, on Ejido street.
However, upon arrival paramedics confirmed that the man had vital signs and he was only in advanced intoxication by alcohol, so he was moved to a safe place where he was recovering from his drunkenness.
In March 2024, 66.5% of women and 54.5% of men considered it unsafe to live in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero.
The cities with the highest percentage of people aged 18 years and older who considered that living in their city is unsafe were six municipalities, including , Zihuatanejo and Chilpancingo.
